Whether you’re marking a special family milestone or simply want to mark a moment in time, family photography is all about celebrating connection, love, and togetherness. These are the memories that become part of your story and I’m here to help you capture them beautifully.
In my cosy studio, you can expect a relaxed and enjoyable session where the focus is on natural smiles, genuine interactions, and all the little details that make your family unique. Let the kids play, snuggle up together, and just be yourselves, I’ll take care of the rest.
The studio is just 15 minutes from Telford, 30 minutes from Wolverhampton, and less than 5 minutes from Ironbridge. We’re easy to find and always ready with a warm welcome (and plenty of biscuits!).

What to expect during your family session
Family sessions are a chance to have some fun and create memories! They last an hour in my studio, long enough to keep young children engaged (and adults) whilst giving time for background and outfit changes.
We’ll start with a relaxed chat, drink and a biscuit to get everyone acclimatised to the studio. From there, I'll start guiding you into poses as groups and individuals. Don't worry if you think you'll have uncooperative children, I have a few tricks up my sleeve! It's all about letting them be children.
I photograph on plain backdrops for a simple and minimalistic feel. I choose them to suit your skin tones, colouring and home decor. Don't worry! I'll guide you on what to wear as well prior to your session.
When the session has finished, we’ll book your reveal appointment for usually around two weeks later where you’ll view your gallery and choose the frames, prints and artwork you'd love designed for your home.

My studio is only a 20-25 minute walk into Ironbridge along a beautiful disused railway path. After your session you could have a family trip out, enjoy some fish and chips by the river or try the famous Elly's pork pie, topped off with an ice cream. Or why not make the most of the many pubs available within walking distance? Blists Hill Museum is a short distance away too, as well as the Jackfield Tile Museum being on site. There's so much to explore here in the Gorge!

FAQ
How long does a family photoshoot last?
Our family photography sessions typically last around 1 hour. This gives us plenty of time to capture a variety of natural moments, group combinations, and individual portraits without feeling rushed.
What should we wear to our family photoshoot?
Coordinated colours work best - think neutral tones, earthy shades or soft pastels. Avoid large logos or clashing patterns. Comfort is key! I’ll also send you a styling guide after booking to help you prepare.
Where do family photo sessions take place?
Sessions take place at my studio in Jackfield, TF8 7AP. Outdoor family sessions are available on request. Please use the contact form on my contact page to request this.
What if my children don’t sit still or play up?
Don’t worry at all! I have plenty of experience photographing lively little ones. My approach is relaxed and fun. I’ll gently guide them while letting their personalities shine through. The most important thing is to let kids be kids! Please note though that disruptive or inappropriate behaviour won't be tolerated.
When will I see my photos?
You'll be invited back for a viewing and ordering appointment around 1–2 weeks after your session. This is when you choose your favourites and purchase any wall art or additional images. I'll help guide you through the process to make sure you get exactly what you want and need without the hard sale.
How much shall I budget for?
Because I specialise in custom-designed wall art, your investment really depends on how you want to showcase your images. I generally suggest a budget of £500 to £2,000+ for physical pieces. To make the most of your investment, you can opt for the 'Grande Gallery' or 'Heirloom Collection', which offers great value for digital files and wall art. My goal is to create a tailored experience, so we can scale your order up or down to suit your home perfectly.
