Film photography is super trendy right now, but for me it's so much more than a trend - it's a way of photographing. Because there are only 36 frames per roll of film (generally speaking), I become so much more intentional about what I photograph. I'm considerate, careful and really focus in on the moments that matter the most. When paired with digital photography, you get this beautiful hybrid of the safety of digital and quick adaptability, perfect for those fleeting moments, mixed in with some super intentional and artful film portraits, details shots and atmospheric moments captured in a unique way. I also love the aesthetic of film, the grain, the colours and the whole process of development and print. You're left with real hard copies of your photos, unedited and untouched to cherish forever.
